This blog started out as a log of my antics studying abroad in Rome, but has now morphed into the inevitable predicaments I find myself in while travelling in general.

Le Macchine Hanno Bruciato
As I was walking on my normal commute from school to my apartment I noticed something that was not very normal. Either these cars suffered some pyrotechnic vandalism or Italy has made the consequences for parking violations a little too extreme (the latter is immediately ruled out because Italy has no parking laws):

These cars sent chills down my spine. They're just sitting by the side of the road and no one has made an attempt to clean them up or put up signs to let the people know what happened. I give up Italy, I'm sure you're going to deal with the cars that have been burnt down to the frame on a public street in your own special way.
